FAQs

A multi-channel report should include metrics breakdown by visibility, engagement, and conversion metrics. It should also segment data by campaign, channel, audience, content, objective, and date. For example, including visibility metrics such as impressions and reach, engagement metrics like click-through rate and average session duration, and conversion metrics such as conversion rate and revenue generated. By segmenting the data using these elements, the report provides a comprehensive analysis of performance across different channels and campaigns.
To analyze multi-channel data, you should include visibility metrics such as impressions, reach, and share of voice for each channel. For engagement, consider metrics like click-through rate, average session duration, and social media interactions. Conversion metrics should include conversion rate, cost per acquisition, and revenue generated. Provide context by comparing these metrics against cost, date range, set goals, benchmark rates, and industry averages. Segment data by campaign, channel, audience, content, objective, and date to gain insights. For example, compare the performance of a Facebook campaign against an Instagram campaign in terms of engagement and conversion metrics for a specific target audience.
To build a multi-channel marketing dashboard, 1) connect your data and accounts from various platforms like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, and MailChimp. 2) Select the metrics to monitor performance such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and bounce rates. 3) Segment or break down data by campaign, channel, audience, product, customer content, objective, and date. For example, you can compare the performance of an email campaign versus a social media campaign. 4) Add filters or buttons to make your report interactive, allowing for real-time data analysis. 5) Share your dashboard via PDF, scheduled emails, or links to relevant stakeholders.
