FAQs

A marketing performance report should include a breakdown of metrics by visibility (e.g., impressions, reach), engagement (e.g., click-through rates, time spent), and conversion metrics (e.g., sales, leads). Data should be segmented by campaign, channel, audience, content, objective, and date for effective analysis. For example, analyzing engagement metrics by different campaigns or channels can reveal which strategies are most successful in driving audience participation.
To analyze marketing performance, include the following in a report: 1) Breakdown metrics: visibility (impressions, reach), engagement (likes, shares), conversion (click-through rates, conversion rates). 2) Add context by comparing against cost (cost per impression, cost per click), date range (monthly, quarterly), goals (increased sales, brand awareness), rates (engagement rate, conversion rate), benchmarks (industry average CTR). 3) Segment data by campaign (holiday campaign), channel (social media), audience (age group), content (video ads), objective (lead generation), and date (campaign launch). Example: Impressions increased by 20% compared to last month’s campaign, exceeding the industry average CTR benchmark.
To build a marketing performance dashboard, 1) connect your data and accounts such as Google Analytics, social media platforms, and CRM systems. 2) Select the metrics to monitor performance, for example, click-through rates, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs. 3) Segment or break down data by campaign, channel, audience, product, customer content, objective, date to gain a comprehensive view of your marketing efforts. 4) Add filters or buttons to make your report interactive, allowing for real-time data analysis. 5) Share your dashboard via PDF, scheduled emails, or links to ensure all stakeholders are updated.
