FAQs

A marketing analytics report should include breaking down metrics by visibility (e.g., impressions, reach), engagement (e.g., clicks, likes), and conversion (e.g., conversion rate, sales). The data should be segmented by campaign, channel, audience, content, objective, and date. For example, metrics such as impressions, clicks, and conversions can be analyzed based on different campaigns, channels (e.g., social media, email), specific target audiences, content types (e.g., blog posts, videos), objectives (e.g., brand awareness, lead generation), and dates to measure performance and identify trends.
To analyze marketing analytics data, 1) choose metrics like visibility (impressions, reach), engagement (click-through rate, bounce rate), and conversion metrics (conversion rate, ROI). 2) Add context by comparing with costs (CPC, CPM), date range (monthly, quarterly), goals (increase sales, brand awareness), rates (CTR, conversion rate), and benchmarks (industry standards). For example, compare the CTR of a Facebook campaign with the industry benchmark. 3) Segment data by campaign (summer sale, holiday promotion), channel (social media, email), audience (age group, location), content (video, infographic), objective (lead generation, brand loyalty), and date. For instance, analyze the conversion rate of a specific email campaign targeting a specific audience segment.
To build a marketing analytics dashboard, 1) connect your data and accounts such as Google Analytics, social media platforms, and CRM systems. 2) Select the metrics to monitor performance, like click-through rates, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs. 3) Segment or break down data by campaign, channel, audience, product, customer content, objective, date for a detailed analysis. 4) Add filters or buttons to make your report interactive, for instance, a filter to view data for a specific time period. 5) Share your dashboard via PDF, scheduled emails, or links for easy access and review.
