FAQs

A Reach report should include metrics related to visibility, such as impressions and reach; engagement metrics like clicks, likes, shares, and comments; and conversion metrics such as conversions, leads generated, and purchases made. The data should be segmented by campaign, channel (e.g., social media platforms), audience demographics, content type, objective (e.g., awareness, sales), and date. For example, a Reach report may show that a specific campaign on Instagram targeting millennial women generated 100,000 impressions, 5,000 clicks, and 200 conversions within a specific period.
To analyze reach data, 1) choose visibility metrics such as impressions and reach, engagement metrics like likes and comments, and conversion metrics such as click-through rates. Break them down by campaign, channel, audience, content, objective, and date. For example, analyze impressions and reach on Facebook and Instagram separately for a specific campaign within a given date range. 2) Add context by comparing costs, date ranges, goals, and rates. Compare the click-through rate of different campaigns against the industry benchmark for better context. 3) Segment data by campaign, channel, audience, content, objective, and date. For example, compare engagement metrics of different content pieces based on various objectives like brand awareness or lead generation.
To build a Reach dashboard, 1) connect your data and accounts from various platforms like Google Analytics, Facebook, or Instagram. 2) Select metrics such as impressions, unique visitors, and reach to monitor performance. 3) Segment or break down data by campaign, channel, audience, product, customer content, objective, and date. For example, you can segment data by a specific marketing campaign or a particular product. 4) Add filters or buttons to make your report interactive, such as a date range filter or a channel filter. 5) Share your dashboard via PDF, scheduled emails, or links to relevant stakeholders.
