FAQs

A email marketing report should include visibility metrics such as open rates, engagement metrics like click-through rates, and conversion metrics such as conversion rate. Segment data by campaign, channel, audience, content, objective, and date to provide a comprehensive analysis. For example, compare the performance of a promotional campaign versus a newsletter, or the performance of email versus social media.
To analyze email marketing data, 1) choose visibility metrics like open rates, engagement metrics like click-through rates, and conversion metrics like conversion rates. 2) Compare these metrics against cost per email, date range of campaigns, goals for each campaign, industry benchmarks for email performance. 3) Segment data by specific email campaigns, channels (e.g. promotional vs. newsletter), audience segments, content types (e.g. product vs. blog), campaign objectives, and date of sends. For example, compare the open rates of promotional emails vs. newsletter emails to identify which type of content resonates more with the audience.
To build an Email Marketing dashboard, 1) connect your data and accounts from your email service provider, CRM, and website analytics. 2) Select metrics such as open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, and bounce rate to monitor performance. 3) Segment data by campaign, channel (e.g., newsletter, promotional), audience (e.g., new subscribers, repeat customers), product, customer content (e.g., product updates, blog posts), objective (e.g., lead generation, sales), and date. 4) Add filters or buttons for metrics like delivery time or subject line to make your report interactive. 5) Share your dashboard via PDF, scheduled emails, or links for easy access and review.
