Power My Analytics Overview

What is Power My Analytics?

Power My Analytics is an automation tool used for reporting, which makes data collection easy for digital marketers.

How Does Power My Analytics Work?

Like SuperMetrics, Power My Analytics also collects data from various channels in digital marketing, and is used for the automation of the integrated data.

Throughout the years, it developed rapidly and is now one of the most popular marketing automation tools with reporting and extracting data from wherever you want.

There are 4 different destinations of your reporting data:

  • Google Analytics
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Google Sheets
  • Google Data Studio

As it can be considered a more affordable version of the industry giant – Supermetrics, Power My Analytics has more than 30 connectors. Some of them are:

  • Google Ads
  • Facebook Ads
  • Facebook Insights
  • Google Search Console
  • Amazon
  • Linkedin Ads
  • Quora
  • Youtube.

Is Power My Analytics Worth It?

Although there are some limitations and fewer features in comparison with some industry giants like SuperMetrics, it is still a great solution for lower-budget companies, agencies and individuals, so it is worth it.

Features

As we have mentioned, Power My Analytics allows users to gather data from different platforms, including CRM, email, social media, and advertising. After that, they can integrate the needed data into different destinations.

One of the main features of Power My Analytics is having Data Studio Connectors. It will allow you to generate customizable templates for your dashboards. These dashboards are of HD quality.

Is Data Blending Possible with Power My Analytics?

Yes, destinations like Google Data Studio and Google Sheets allow the user to blend data and use it in cross-channel reporting.

Historical Data and Data Freshness in Power My Analytics

Historical data range for Power My Analytics is up to 2 years, though it may change depending on the channel you are going to use.

Although it is impossible to keep the data real-time, Power My Analytics does a great job keeping information up-to-date, therefore the freshness range is between 1-3 days.

How Does Power My Analytics Collect Data?

Data collection is automated for you by Power My Analytics, which means that you won’t need to update them all the time because you will have them ready.

With this feature, you have a chance of cutting and pasting the metrics into the reports. It also allows the reports to load faster, saving you time, money, and energy.

Another plus of this feature is that it will help you to backfill your historical data. With automated marketing reports, you also do not need to log into different platforms to extract data from them.

This feature sets you free of the custom development cost and the frustration of the long process of logging into different platforms simultaneously.

This allows you to create attention-grabbing reports from the first glance, and in case you run a small business, it is a simple way to impress your clients with detailed information.

Pricing

Power My Analytics offers a 14-day free trial, in which you can test the software. After that period, you can switch to the priced plans if you want to work with it.

Business

In the business plan, you will have 3 data connectors, 3 different accounts per connector, 2 team members and per data source; you can have 10 business locations. Here you can create an unlimited number of reports and have an unlimited number of backfills.

Import destinations are Google Analytics and Google Data Studio. Customer support is standard via email and phone. This plan will cost you 29.95$, without add-ons.

For 8.35$, you can have extra accounts, for 0.85$ – extra locations, for 4.95$ – team members, and 49.95$ for extra spreadsheets. Report outage protection is included.

Pro

In this business plan, you obviously have more privileges as you are going to pay more. Some opportunities remain the same. You have unlimited reports and backfills, same with the general plan.

However, the number of data connectors goes from 3 to unlimited, making a huge difference. The number of team members also increases by one, of which you can have 3.

With 20 accounts and 100 business locations per connector, it has the 2 same import destinations as Business plan, Google Analytics and Google Data Studio. Customer support is the same too, which happens to be via email/phone.

Overall, you have to pay 74.95$ per month for this plan, which has different add-ons like extra accounts for 6.85$, extra locations for 0.65$, extra team members for 4.95$, and spreadsheets for 49.95$.

Agency

You can buy this plan for 224.95$, which is probably the best choice only if you have a business, or a company, as the previous plans would be more than enough for you as a sole digital marketing professional.

There are huge differences between this plan and the 2 previous, as you are going to have unlimited team members, 100 accounts and 1000 business locations per connector.

When it comes to where to import your data, this plan has more choices too. It adds Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and API to the list of the destinations, including the 2 in the previous plans.

There are just 2 add-ons, extra accounts for 2.25$, and extra locations for 0.45$. They are cheap because you will probably never need them.

Enterprise

This plan does not have a fixed price or features, as they are either unlimited or customizable. The main differences are the import destinations, as we see new names here.

You can import your data into SQL Warehouse and BigQuery, the 5 included in the Agency plan. Other than that, you will be assigned a special customer support representative, who will be in contact with you the moment you need them about all the account related processes.

This plan gives you great flexibility and more opportunities, but in case you do not run a huge, multi-million dollar business, you will not probably need this plan as it is not cost-effective.

Alternative Plan

In case you do not have the budget to afford any of these plans, you still have a choice. As you probably have fewer employees and less revenue. This alternative plan takes care of your needs at any given time. For example:

  • You can have connectors individually for 9.95$ per account.
  • You can have each new team member for 4.95$.
  • Each new location will cost you 0.95$.
  • Each spreadsheet could be obtained for 49.95%.

So, if you have problems purchasing the complete versions of different plans, you can buy the services you need at the moment for affordable prices.

Pros and Cons of Power My Analytics

What are the pros and cons of Power My Analytics? We should look at the reviews and testimonials from different platforms to better answer this.

We will discuss these reviews individually in the next paragraphs. For an automated marketing reporting software in 2022, Power My Analytics delivers high-quality for its customers, but it’s still not perfect as any software out there.

Pros of Power My Analytics

  1. High-quality Customer Support – no matter which plans you use, Power My Analytics’ customer support team is always there for you. You can submit your request via email, or you can do it by phone.
  2. Flexible Data Management – Working with Power My Analytics saves you a lot of time, money, and energy as you have full control over your data. You can manage your dashboards, integrate data sources into them and enable you to invite your teammates for collaboration.
  3. Fast and Simple Sign-Up – There is nothing difficult in the sign-up process. All you need to do is to go to the Power My Analytics website, sign-up for free, and choose your plan. You can choose a free trial, and after that, you have a chance to switch to different paid plans.
  4. Multiple Connections – As we have discussed, you can access multiple connectors, depending on your plan.
  5. Multiple Pricing Plans – One of Power My Analytics’s main pluses is that it allows you to create reports and dashboards even for the smallest of budgets.

Cons of Power My Analytics

  1. Functions on Limited Platforms – One of the main cons of the mentioned software is that it can only function on the web. Mobile users can not have access to it.
  2. Limited Resources – There is not much information on the website for explanatory purposes, and it has minimal audio-video tutorials, so it may be hard for someone not into technical stuff.
  3. Facebook Groups – Although Power My Analytics works on different platforms, it does not gather data from Facebook groups, which can help you collect a massive range of data.

Power My Analytics Reviews

When you look at different review platforms for the ratings of Power My Analytics, you can see similar numbers. For example, it has got a score of 4.8/5.0 in Capterra.

It has the same rating in both TrustPilot and GetApp, there is only a difference in the number of users voted on different platforms, but it is safe to say that more than 90% of its users love the way Power My Analytics works.

Positive reviews revolve around the software being easy to set up and various features we have mentioned above, while the negative reviews touch to the point that connectors can be slow sometimes and lack Facebook Groups.

Alternatives

What are the alternatives of Power My Analytics in the market if you do not plan to use it for a long time? Here are some of them that may actually fit your needs better:

Supermetrics

The reason why many people switch to Power My Analytics from Supermetrics is the price. However, with more platforms to integrate and more data collectors available.

Supermetrics offers more opportunities despite the pricing. It’s safe to say that Supermetrics is a better alternative for high-budget businesses and companies with higher revenue.

Dataslayer.ai

When you compare Power My Analytics with Dataslayer, you will see that Dataslayer offers better pricing options and is a better alternative for agencies and businesses that are tired of expensive stuff out there. Also, you can have access to Dataslayer via Android and iPhones, which is a huge plus for professionals.

Porter

Porter is another marketing report automation tool that allows users to connect their apps and data quickly in just a matter of a few seconds.

It is flexible, and you can use it for all kinds of clients and different platforms. Other Power My Analytics Alternatives worth mentioning:
