FAQs

A cross-channel report should include metrics broken down by visibility, engagement, and conversion metrics. This should be segmented by campaign, channel, audience, content, objective, and date. For example, visibility metrics could include impressions and reach, while engagement metrics could include clicks and shares. Conversion metrics could include conversions and revenue.
To analyze cross-channel data for a report, follow these steps: 1) Choose metrics like visibility (impressions, reach), engagement (clicks, likes), and conversion (conversions, sales). 2) Add context by comparing costs (cost per impression, cost per click), date range (weekly, monthly trends), goals (improving brand awareness, increasing sales), rates (click-through rate, conversion rate), and benchmarks (industry averages). 3) Segment data by campaign (holiday campaign, summer sale), channel (Facebook, Instagram), audience (male/female, age groups), content (video, image), objective (brand awareness, lead generation), and date (specific time period). Example: Compare the click-through rates between Facebook and Instagram ads for the summer sale campaign targeting the 18-34 age group with video content.

A Cross-channel dashboard is a tool that consolidates data from multiple marketing channels into a single interface, providing businesses with a comprehensive view of their marketing performance. It is significant for businesses as it aids in making informed decisions, tracking KPIs, and identifying trends or issues across different channels. Tools like Looker Studio are commonly used to create these dashboards, which typically include key elements like traffic sources, conversion rates, customer engagement metrics, and ROI. Real-time data monitoring is crucial in these dashboards to provide up-to-date insights and prompt decision-making.
