This ROAS dashboard will help you track the return on your ad spend for both Facebook Ads and Google Ads by displaying scorecards and performance over time compared to an objective.

While the ROAS benchmarks varies and depends on your cost structure, a good ROAS would be at 4; for every dollar you spend on ads, you can expect to return 4.

It also breaks down performance metrics by campaign name to spot which ad campaigns are bringing or affecting your results.

Along with the ROAS metric, the report template displays related metrics such as conversions, conversion value, and ad spend.

  • Return on ad spend (ROAS): for Facebook Ads, it’s Purchase ROAS; for Google Ads, the metric is called Total Conv. value/cost. To calculate the ROAS you should divide the economic value that your conversions bring by the cost of your advertising.
  • Conversion value: the total economic value registered for the conversions logged on your ads. For Facebook Ads it’s Purchase ROAS; for Google Ads, it’s total conversion value.
  • Ad spend: the total advertising spend on Facebook Ads is called Amount spent and on Google Ads it’s Cost.
  • Transactions: this metric represents the number of conversions registered. On Facebook Ads—unless you create custom conversions—the default metric is Purchases, and on Google Ads it’s Conversions.
